I'd go with Mason. Bryzgalov has started too many hard games, and too many of them in a row.

As someone that lives in that poophole though , it is kind of annoying that Bryzgalov never seems to play in Winnipeg

Really looking forward to how the D holds up, they aren't pretty but for the most part have been getting it done with simple, and smart plays.

Really loving the play of Luke Schenn of late. Blossoming into quite a defenseman with the extra responsibilities he's taken on in the absence of others.

starting to get playoff fever, our d is patchwork but they all seem to be on the same page...coburn getting hurt seems to be a blessing in disguise.

the team is hot at the perfect time imo, we are beating some very consistent teams right now

gagne and knuble seem to be coming on also which is a pleasent surprise, our d seems alot more mobile and moving the puck pretty darn well

2 thumbs up, keep it going boys!

One thing that has really impressed me is how calm is he with the puck in the offensize zone. Especially on the PP.

Great to see.

You know, its all gravy right, I mean this team was sort of written off a few weeks back and really, I have no expectation of a playoff run so I'm just enjoying this kind of play from the team. One of the coolest things last night was the Schenn Brother's post game interview. To see the two of them there smiling and having fun after a hard fought game, it was rather enjoyable.

I remember thinking earlier in the game as B. Schenn skated down the side and then drop passed the puck to L. Schenn....that's probably something they've done how many times in their lives with one another. Pretty cool to think about.

I think it has more to do with the team as a whole finally committing to defense than the members of the patchwork D somehow being an improvement on the regulars who are missing. When everyone plays D, the individual components all look better.

Bryzgalov has started the last two games in Winnipeg, going back to February of last year. I don't know why you keep saying this.

I am very proud of the way the team has stepped up in light of all the injuries etc.. It's an extremely long shot that they make it, I know but if they can keep it up and make the dance I will be ecstatic as it will be very good for the young player's development.

Skimming the Lightning blog and this gem cracked me up "a weak Matt Carle point shot " ain't that the truth. Man hope they get used to that!

I was thrilled to see us close down last night. I am also in the "give Bryz a rest" bucket although I don't think Lavi is. I seriously doubt we see Mason until we are either eliminated or Bryz explodes - Bryz parts all over the ice.

I'll be praying Timmo is ok for Sat. We could use both him and Grossmann back in form. Our D still scares me. Luke is playing like a man possessed. He's going to be very, very good. Although I did see some mistakes from Gervais last night and I'm not sold on Lauridson at all yet. Huskins and Gustaffson seemed solid - surprisingly.

I'm glad to see both Rosehill and Hall contributing although I still think Hall will contribute more in the long run. I don't mind giving Rosehill a boost with his goal last night. Welcme to Philly, lmao.

The first period was a touch scary with how rough it was getting out there. But everyone settled down in the 2nd and then we looked gassed in the third.

I had to laugh at the Schenn's interview with Coatsey after the game where Brayden jokingly said Luke practices those full ice shots into the empty net every day... And Luke looked over with a "don't tell them that!" look.

Very. How predictable is it that he got a goal last night after a 10 game scoreless streak....

Of course it helps when you play over 23 minutes as well. It felt like he was out there just about every other shift...

But good for him.

What are your thoughts on Lauridsen? I know it's only been a few games but hes hardly seemed out of place. I think he has better hands than Coburn already. Doesn't move quite as well as him. Seems to make the simple plays and that reach is noticeable. When he wants to be physical hes quite effective at it without taking penalties.

Only if you discount his first game. Penalty on his first shift, lmao...

I'm ecstatic they have figured this out finally, commit to d and they're invincible. Just pissed it took so long, hope they sustain this into and through the playoffs.

Huskins looks good. Much more mobile than I thought he would be. Excellent along the boards and position wise. Makes subtle effective plays like a veteran should. If he keeps it up I'd hope the Flyers would consider resigning him.
